Nikolaos Kalamaras has studied Electrical Engineering and graduated from the National Technical University of Athens in 1994. He has received his M.Sc. in Environmental Physics (2004) and his Ph.D. in Physics (2019) from the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The subject of his Ph.D. thesis was in the field of climate nonlinear dynamics using Multifractal Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (MFDFA). He has been working at the Hellenic National Meteorological Service as a meteorologist since 2000 and has been involved in multiple projects in the field of climate physics.
